You now have installed the mac port of PuTTY on your Mac OS X! You can either run the command “putty” in terminal to launch the program, or create a shortcut on your desktop by typing in “cp /opt/local/bin/putty ~/Desktop/PuTTY”.

create a shortcut : cp/opt/local/bin/putty ~/Desktop/PuTTY.

Type this command sudo port install putty.

Launch the terminal, found in /Applications/ Utilities, type this command: Xcode-select –install.
